Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TechnicalIQ (“TechnicalIQ”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, mobile apps and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details — your name, mobile number, and (if provided) email, created when you register or subscribe.
  • Device & usage data — device identifier, app version, push-notification token, and basic activity needed to run the Service and secure your account (e.g. device binding).
  • Subscription & payment data — the plan you buy and the transaction reference. Card/UPI/banking details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
  • Support communications — messages you send us via WhatsApp, email or in-app.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the Service — deliver levels, setups, alerts and your subscription entitlements.
  • To send transactional messages and notifications you’ve opted into (e.g. buy/sell study alerts, account/OTP messages).
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To secure the Service, prevent misuse, and provide support.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing & processors

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, including:

  • Payment processor (Razorpay) — to take and verify payments.
  • Cloud & database hosting — to run the Service securely.
  • Push notifications (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) — to deliver alerts.
  • SMS provider — to send OTP and account messages.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion (see “Your rights”).

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional processing such as marketing messages. To make a request, contact us at help@technicalIq.com.

7. Account & data deletion

You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Email help@technicalIq.com from your registered address, or WhatsApp +91 97722 11992 from your registered mobile number, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request against the mobile number on the account and complete deletion within 30 days.

Deletion removes your profile, mobile number, device push tokens and subscription record. Transaction records required for tax, accounting and statutory audit are retained for the period Indian law requires, after which they are deleted; they are not used to contact you or to rebuild your profile. Deleting your account ends access to any active subscription and does not by itself create a refund entitlement.

8. Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.

10. Contact

Questions about privacy? Email help@technicalIq.com or WhatsApp +91 97722 11992.
